Pulling Drivetrain from my 1960 700 sedan- clutch work

    Holy moly Larr.

I feel for ya. After all, the pump was working before you pull the motor right?

I've have really good luck finding 60 pumps at FLAPS. The trouble was, i had a 64 at the time! There seems to be a bunch of people that buy them from Napa and end up with the 60-1, instead of the 62+.

Look forward to hearing better news soon!

Larry I gave you a new 60 fuel pump. You should have one on the shelf. :D

Yeah I know Sam, I just can't put my hands on it. I'm really embarassed about that... I'll keep looking in my disorganized mess of a garage. :(

It's no big deal, I just was not sure if you remembered. I think it was in a box if that helps. I bet you have one on one of your other 60 motors as well. See you tonight. 8-)

I'm beginning to wonder what the next thing will be to thwart my attempts to get the 1960 700 on the road before the snow flies? I couldn't work in the garage this weekend :( because of a marriage enrichment seminar at my church all day Sat. and a family gathering today for my son Brad and his family here from AZ. But I got a call from Carl Lipetri Thursday evening looking for a governor for his own 1960 coupe. When I went to look for one I have loose, I was greeted by the strong smell of gasoline. Turns out that now I have a 3Ft puddle of gas on the floor under the gas tank. Rats!

Oh well, I guess I'll get another of my items worked off my list- dropping the gas tank to clean & seal it and fix the gas sending gage. It also gives me a chance to check the gas line all the way back and change the fuel hose connection at the tank. Still need to find the fuel pump Sam gave me too. I'm already planning next weekend in the garage. ;) 8-)

It sounds like the 60 is taunting you!! You show that 60 who is boss. :)
