Our History
The Capital City Corvair Club, Ltd. (CCCC) of Madison, Wisconsin formed in 1963 when new Corvairs were still rolling off the assembly line. The Club was sponsored by the Madison Chevy dealer - Hult's Capital Garage. Members received the GM publication "Corvair Communiques" along with a local newsletter called the "Exhaust". The club sponsored rallies, slaloms and social events.

In 1964 the CCCC held the now famous Midwest Corvair Owners' Convention. This event drew enthusiasts from Indiana, Minnesota, Illinois and Wisconsin. Events included Concours, Economy Run, Gymkhana and Funkhana.

Today the Capital City Corvair Club continues this tradition of activities. We hold at least two rallies, along with other special events, each year. In past years we have sponsored the Midwest Corvair Owners' Convention, an event which is rotated among midwest CORSA chapters. We are a club of over 40 dedicated Corvair enthusiasts, including several Ed Cole trophy winners. The CCCC banquet table at the national convention is usually piled high with trophies.

We continue to publish our monthly newsletter, the "Exhaust", and we meet on the second Tuesday of each month. For more information on how to join in on the fun contact us by e-mail at: join@capitalcitycorvairs.com
